Scoot on up the hill to West Kelowna for an amazing evening of local ambrosia as L’ Oven Farm Fresh Food as Saxon Estate Winery pair up for an evening of great food, stunning wine and live music that moves you.
August offers the best of Okanagan’s summer bounty and guests will savour a seasonal taste sensation from local farmers and producers at this inaugural winemaker’s dinner on Thursday, August 25. Hosts Trish and the team at L’Oven and Paul and Shiela from Saxon Estate Wine have created a five-course dinner paired with Saxon’s organic wines.
The cozy bistro with its wood fired oven specializes in pie, fresh bread and of course, pizza. Noted for its breakfast and lunch offerings, the evening event shows off the full range of culinary delights at L’Oven.
Adding to the evening is the music of local troubadour John Paul Byrne. Acoustic guitar in hand, his deep baritone voice brings to life some well loved favourites and some fresh original songs.
Saxon is a family-run estate winery located along the scene Bottleneck drive in Summerland. They offer a range of organic wines made from hand-picked grapes.
